Frequently asked questions

How can I access eSignature in my Dropbox account?
Chevron icon

To access Dropbox Sign inside of your Dropbox account, use the same email address and password that were entered during your purchase. Upon signing in to Dropbox, you’ll see “Signatures” in the left navigation panel. Click it and enjoy eSignature features within Dropbox.

What is a template?
Chevron icon

Dropbox Sign templates let you save prepared fields in a document so you can quickly reuse it in the future. Rather than waste time repeatedly preparing a document for signature, templates save all the formatting for you—ideal for high-volume documents that are sent to different recipients frequently.

Do the people I send documents to need to pay anything?
Chevron icon

No, nothing. Ever. They get an email notifying them of the signature request, and all they need to do is open the document and sign. There’s nothing they need to pay or special training they need to have. Signing is quick and easy. Once they’ve signed, both of you will automatically receive a copy of the document.

I still need help. Where can I go?

Dropbox One customers can get help from the Dropbox help center, Quick Start Guides, community, chat support, and by email.
